Job Description
Job Title: QC Technician / Audit Technician
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM or 9:30 AM-6:00 PM
Pay Rate: $16.00/hour
Position Overview: responsible for maintaining quality standards across device staging and production projects. This role performs quality assurance inspections, validates project requirements, identifies discrepancies, and ensures all devices and orders meet customer specifications prior to shipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
Perform quality control audits to support a 99.9% accuracy target.
Identify and report QA issues, documentation errors, and system discrepancies.
Serve as the final quality checkpoint for outgoing orders.
Verify device staging, accessories, packaging, and kitting requirements.
Inspect devices for shipping damage and functionality.
Test, charge, and replace batteries as needed.
Configure network settings and install required applications.
Upgrade device software and firmware as directed.
Document and communicate device or system issues to Project Leads.
Repackage and label completed orders according to specifications.
Conduct quality checks to ensure all devices meet customer requirements.
Troubleshoot minor technical issues and escalate complex problems.
Assist with device setup, including peripherals and accessories.
Organize inventory and maintain proper device storage.
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 1 year of quality control or quality assurance experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience in staging, production, or systems support.
Customer service experience in a support environment preferred.
Experience supporting hardware, peripherals, and connectivity issues.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
