TekPro is partnered with an established manufacturing company in Itasca, IL that is looking to add an experienced Maintenance Electrician to its maintenance team.

This is a direct-hire opportunity for someone with a strong industrial electrical troubleshooting background who is comfortable working hands-on with manufacturing equipment, electrical controls, motors, and facility systems. The ideal candidate can diagnose electrical problems independently while also assisting with general equipment maintenance when needed.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical issues on manufacturing and production equipment.

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and facility equipment.

  • Troubleshoot 480V/3-phase electrical systems, motors, starters, relays, contactors, sensors, and controls.

  • Diagnose electrical faults using multimeters and other testing equipment.

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment documentation.

  • Troubleshoot motor controls, VFDs, switches, and industrial control systems.

  • Assist with electrical installations, equipment upgrades, wiring, and machine modifications.

  • Support troubleshooting of PLC-controlled equipment; programming experience is not required.

What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience as an Industrial Electrician, Maintenance Electrician, Electrical Maintenance Technician, or Industrial Maintenance Technician.

  • Strong industrial electrical troubleshooting skills.

  • Experience working with 480V, 3-phase power and industrial electrical systems.

  • Knowledge of motors, motor controls, VFDs, relays, sensors, and electrical control systems.

  • Ability to read and troubleshoot from electrical schematics.

  • Comfortable using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.

  • PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus.
