Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to support daily transportation operations and ensure the efficient movement of vehicles throughout our network. This role serves as a key point of communication between drivers, terminals, dealers, and customers, coordinating schedules, monitoring deliveries, and resolving operational issues in a timely manner. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, solves problems effectively, and maintains exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and company standards.
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of dispatch experience in the trucking industry.
- Must have working knowledge of current DOT rules and regulations.
- Must have strong computer skills, including accurate data entry and proficiency with dispatch and office systems.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules, operational demands, and customer needs.
- Must be willing to participate in a weekly on-call rotation and respond promptly to driver and dealer support needs.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Must be available to participate in a rotating weekly on-call schedule, providing after-hours support and responding to driver, dealer, and operational needs as required.
