Job Description

CDR General Services is currently seeking an experienced Bricklayer to join our team in New Orleans, LA. The ideal candidate will have previous masonry experience and be comfortable working on construction projects involving brick, block, mortar, and other masonry materials.

Job Details

Pay: 18.00–20.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: New Orleans, LA

Responsibilities

Lay bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials.
Mix, prepare, and apply mortar.
Measure, cut, position, and align masonry materials accurately.
Construct and repair walls, structures, and other masonry surfaces.
Read basic measurements and follow project specifications.
Ensure finished work is level, aligned, and meets quality standards.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures.
Perform additional masonry-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Previous bricklaying or masonry experience is required.
Experience working with brick, block, and mortar.
Ability to accurately use basic measurements.
Ability to perform physically demanding construction work.
Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
Ability to follow instructions and project specifications.
Reliable transportation and consistent attendance preferred.
Must be available for the required schedule and overtime as needed.
