CDR General Services is currently hiring a dependable Bricklayer Helper to support masonry projects in New Orleans, LA. This position assists experienced Bricklayers with material preparation, jobsite organization, and daily masonry activities.
Job Details
Pay: 15.00–16.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: New Orleans, LA
Responsibilities
- Mix and prepare mortar.
- Carry and stage bricks, blocks, tools, and other materials.
- Assist Bricklayers during installation and masonry work.
- Set up, organize, and clean work areas.
- Use basic hand and power tools as required.
- Perform general labor duties related to masonry work.
- Maintain a clean and safe jobsite.
- Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous masonry or construction experience is preferred, but not required.
- Comfortable performing physically demanding outdoor work.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move construction materials.
- Willingness to learn and assist experienced Bricklayers.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
- Reliable and able to maintain consistent attendance.
- Must be available for overtime and Sundays as needed.
