Aegis is partnering with a manufacturer in Plainfield looking to identify a ***Senior Mechanical Engineer ***to join their growing team!

What You'll Do:

• Design custom automation systems and machinery in SolidWorks from concept through final release
• Develop conveyors, part handling systems, gantries, guarding, coolant systems, and automated mechanism
• Create detailed manufacturing drawings and assemblies utilizing GD&T and proper design-for-manufacturing principles

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience designing custom automation equipment, machinery, or engineered systems
• Strong proficiency with SolidWorks and mechanical system design
• Solid understanding of GD&T, machining processes, tolerances, and manufacturing methods
