Now Hiring: General Laborer – 1st Shift
Manufacturing & Production
Openwork is hiring a General Laborer for a manufacturing facility in Denton, TX. This is a hands-on position assisting with the production and assembly of wood products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Candidates must have at least 1 year of manufacturing, assembly, production, or warehouse experience.
Position at a Glance:
Location: Denton, TX
Pay: $18.00 per hour | Weekly Pay
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Shift: 1st Shift
Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Overtime: Required as needed, including 12-hour shifts and weekends

What You'll Be Doing:
- Assist with the production and assembly of wood products.
- Work in a high-volume production environment.
- Follow specification sheets and work instructions.
- Handle and move materials as needed.
- Check completed work for quality.
- Keep the work area clean and safe.
- Follow all safety procedures.
What You'll Need:
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing, assembly, production, or warehouse experience.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to follow specification sheets.
- Comfortable standing, bending, lifting, and performing physical work throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Available for required overtime, including extended shifts and weekends.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills strongly preferred.
Work Environment:
This is a hands-on, labor-intensive manufacturing position. Expect to spend the workday standing, moving materials, and performing repetitive production tasks in a non-climate-controlled facility.
