Part-Time Caregiver - Paola, KS

Location: Paola, KS – Miami County
Schedule: Approximately 7 Hours Per Week

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate part-time caregiver to provide in-home support to a client in Paola, Kansas.

This assignment is approximately 7 hours per week. The client is visually impaired, has a dog, and smoking occurs in the home. The ideal caregiver will be patient, reliable, and comfortable working in this environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living
• Help the client safely navigate the home environment
• Provide personal care assistance as needed
• Assist with meal preparation
• Perform light housekeeping related to client care
• Provide companionship and supervision
• Provide medication reminders as authorized
• Follow the client's individualized care plan
• Observe and report changes in the client's condition or needs
• Communicate concerns to the appropriate supervisor

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience
• Current CPR certification
• Comfortable working in a smoking household
• Comfortable working in a home with a dog
• Dependable and punctual
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to follow care plans and safety procedures
• Availability for approximately 7 hours per week

Experience assisting individuals who are blind or visually impaired is preferred.
