Minutemen Staffing is hiring Housekeepers for a facility in Peninsula, Ohio. We are looking for dependable candidates who take pride in maintaining clean, safe, and sanitary environments and are ready for steady, full-time work.

Available Shift

1st Shift

• Monday through Friday
• 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Perform daily housekeeping duties according to assigned work schedules
• Clean resident rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, elevators, stairways, break rooms, locker rooms, and other work areas
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to designated disposal areas
• Clean and polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, heating/cooling units, and other surfaces
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies through vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting
• Sweep, dust, mop, strip, wax, buff, and disinfect floors as needed
• Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout the day
• Properly store equipment, tools, and supplies when not in use
• Follow all established safety policies and procedures when performing duties and using equipment and cleaning supplies
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and company information
• Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality
• Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Must be able to communicate and interact professionally with staff, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public
• Must be able to work respectfully and tactfully with others
• Must be willing to learn and adapt to new methods, procedures, and principles
• Dependable and able to report to work as scheduled
• Reliable transportation to and from the Peninsula worksite
