Drivers local & OTR & Mover

Bennett's Moving, based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, is hiring drivers and movers for local and over-the-road assignments. For more than two decades, we have helped customers move while building a strong, active team environment. You’ll work with a crew, meet new people, stay active, and support moves based on business needs and schedules. Driver assignments may include standard moving trucks and box trucks, with overnight travel based on move schedules. Pay starts at $23 per hour, including hourly pay and tips, for experienced drivers and $19–$21 per hour for movers, depending on experience. Employees are paid weekly and may follow an individualized advancement plan toward driver, crew leader, and other growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload furniture safely and efficiently.
• Wrap, protect, and handle customer belongings.
• Drive standard moving trucks and box trucks for local and over-the-road moves.
• Navigate routes and travel overnight based on move schedules.
• Pack customer belongings and provide packing services.
• Secure loads and operate moving equipment safely.
• Provide professional customer service throughout each move.
• Complete invoice paperwork and coordinate with the crew, owner, operations manager, and crew leader.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license for driver roles.
• Commercial vehicle operation experience or capability.
• Furniture handling and moving equipment operation skills.
• Route navigation and load-securing knowledge.
• Basic invoicing and customer service skills.
• Physical strength and ability to lift 100+ pounds.
• Strong teamwork, reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in moving and transportation services.
