Material Handler

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler I to join our warehouse and manufacturing environment in Sacramento. This position is responsible for accurately receiving, storing, moving, and distributing materials and finished goods throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and distribute materials and finished goods to designated locations
• Operate material-moving equipment to transport products and materials
• Verify materials against delivery documents for accuracy
• Count and/or weigh parts to confirm quantities
• Properly label and store materials according to safety standards
• Complete required paperwork accurately
• Report material quantity discrepancies to the Team Leader
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow safety procedures and maintain 7S compliance
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred
• Previous forklift experience preferred
• Basic math and computer skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions
• Ability to identify materials by matching descriptions and documentation
• Reliable and safety-conscious work habits

Physical & Work Environment

• Primarily works on the warehouse floor
• May be exposed to varying temperatures, humidity, noise, dust, chemicals, moving vehicles, machinery, and vibrations
• Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs.
• Requires frequent standing, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, and use of hands
• May occasionally work in limited spaces and climb/balance as needed
