Customer Care Rep (Call Center)

We are seeking a Customer Care Representative to join the team for one of our clients! You will be responsible for helping customers by providing health care information and resolving issues.

This is an IN OFFICE position in Romeoville, IL - ** This is NOT a remote positions **

We are looking for someone with experience in all 3 itmes listed above.

Responsibilities:

• Handle customer inquiries and complaints
• Provide accurate quote of medical, dental, and vision benefits.
• answering incoming telephone calls promptly and in a professional manner.
• Document and update customer records based on interactions
• Work collaboratively with peers to meet targeted call center metrics of answering 90 percent of calls.
• Works collaboratively with other divisional colleagues, such as claims examiners, nurses, imaging, and recovery to provide total customer care.

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer care field, medical billing and coding.
• Call center experience
• Working knowledge of healthcare, medical coding and terminology is required.
• Proficient using windows applications.
• Self- motivated, dependable, and detail orientated.
• Ability to work under pressure, independently, as well as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Previous claims payment and PPO experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm -- IN OFFICE

Pay: $22
