Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to provide professional HR support across employee relations, policy interpretation, compliance, and performance management. This role serves as a primary resource for employees and department leaders, ensuring consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate has general HR experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle confidential matters, conduct initial investigations, and provide guidance on employee-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HR guidance and support to employees and department leaders on policies, performance concerns, and employee relations.
- Conduct initial assessments and investigations into employee complaints and workplace concerns.
- Assist managers with corrective actions, performance management, and employee documentation.
- Analyze HR data and trends to identify opportunities for operational improvements.
- Support onboarding, employee engagement, compliance training, and other HR initiatives.
- Assist with workforce planning and provide recommendations based on HR policies and historical data.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations.
- Collaborate with HR leadership on projects and escalate complex employee relations issues as needed.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience (Required).
- 2–4 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a healthcare environment (Preferred).
- General HR experience, including employee relations, policy interpretation, and performance management.
- Experience conducting employee investigations and providing guidance on corrective actions.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information and exercise independent judgment.
