Homecare caregiver

We are seeking a Homecare Caregiver to support older adults, individuals with disabilities, and clients recovering from illness. This role provides personal care assistance, companionship, household support, and varied care based on each client’s needs, including complex medical support under supervision. The caregiver will report to a family member and homecare agency supervisor while following the agency-directed documentation system.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Prepare meals according to client needs.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist clients with mobility and maintain a safe environment.
• Support household tasks and provide companionship.
• Monitor client safety and changing care needs.
• Support appointments and communicate with family members.
• Document care according to the agency-directed system.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in homecare caregiving.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience assisting with activities of daily living.
• Dementia care experience.
• Strong communication skills and empathy.
