IT Project Manager - Supply Chain & Distribution - 6 month + contract

Location/Schedule: Four days per week onsite in Sealy, TX
Contract Duration: Initial six-month contract with potential extension

Reporting Structure: IT Project Management Office (PMO)

Position Overview

We are seeking an IT Project Manager with supply chain experience to support technology initiatives at a distribution facility in Sealy, Texas. This individual will serve as the primary project liaison between facility operations and corporate IT, helping ensure projects remain aligned with business needs and move forward on schedule.

Reporting into the IT PMO, the Project Manager will work closely with facility stakeholders and corporate teams to coordinate activities, resolve obstacles, and maintain clear communication throughout project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage IT projects supporting supply chain and distribution operations.
• Serve as the connection between distribution facility stakeholders, corporate IT, and the IT PMO.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and status reports.
• Coordinate project requirements, priorities, resources, and deliverables across teams.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and roadblocks; drive resolution and escalate issues as needed.
• Facilitate project meetings and communicate progress, decisions, and action items.
• Help ensure technology solutions meet facility needs and align with corporate standards.
• Coordinate testing, implementation readiness, and transition to ongoing support.
• Maintain project documentation in accordance with PMO processes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing IT projects.
• Supply chain experience, with an understanding of distribution, logistics, warehouse, or related operational environments.
• Ability to translate business needs into actionable project requirements.
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience coordinating work across corporate IT and facility operations.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and keep projects moving in a hands-on operational setting.
• Availability to work onsite in Sealy four days per week throughout the contract.

Preferred Experience

• IT project delivery within a distribution center, warehouse, manufacturing facility, or similar environment.
• Experience working within an established IT PMO.
• Familiarity with systems supporting supply chain, inventory, logistics, or warehouse operations.

Location Consideration: Candidates should be comfortable with a regular commute to Sealy. The facility may be particularly accessible to candidates in Katy, Brookshire, Sealy, or nearby communities along the I-10 corridor.
