The Cashier Retail professional will support a grocery and consumables operation by processing customer purchases accurately, providing friendly service, and maintaining efficient checkout experiences.

Responsibilities

• Handle cash and process customer payments accurately.
• Operate point-of-sale systems to complete checkout transactions.
• Provide helpful, courteous customer service.
• Verify prices and resolve pricing discrepancies.
• Bag grocery and consumable products carefully.
• Stock merchandise as needed.

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail cashiering experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with point-of-sale systems, cash handling, and payment processing.
• Basic mathematics skills.
• Experience with inventory scanning.
• Customer service, attention to detail, and communication skills.
