Warehouse Receiving/Distribution Clerk

Meador an Openwork Company is currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Receiving/Distribution Clerk for a growing safety equipment supplier in Deer Park, TX. This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse, receiving, inventory, or distribution experience who enjoys staying busy and working as part of a team.
 Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and verify counts, dimensions, weight ratings, drawings, and other specifications
• Compare purchase orders with vendor packing lists and identify discrepancies
• Tag and organize materials for stock and customer orders
• Accurately receive purchase orders into the ERP system
• Update ERP notes and ensure receiving documentation is current and properly filed
• Notify the appropriate team members of any PO or receiving issues
• Put away stock materials and pull, stage, and issue orders
• Issue materials to work centers and record transactions in the ERP system
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy
• Operate a forklift and order picker as needed
• Assist other areas of the shop when needed
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, inventory, or distribution
• Experience pulling orders, staging materials, issuing inventory, or cycle counting preferred
• High-volume inbound/outbound warehouse experience is a plus
• Comfortable using computers and learning ERP systems
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Organized, dependable, and punctual
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Able to multitask and prioritize daily responsibilities
• Self-motivated and willing to learn new processes and systems
• Ability to stand, crouch, bend, and lift up to 70 lbs. throughout the workday
• Forklift/order picker experience preferred

• Location: Deer Park, TX 77536
• Pay: $15–$18/hour DOE
• Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
