Seeking an experienced NDT Equipment Service Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation, and technical support for NDT equipment at customer locations and in-house.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and install NDT equipment from multiple manufacturers.
  • Perform component-level repairs and periodic preventive maintenance.
  • Read and interpret electrical/mechanical schematics and technical drawings.
  • Coordinate customer service calls for repairs and maintenance.
  • Provide technical support to customers and fellow service technicians.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure repairs meet expectations.
  • Support equipment layout and facility requirements for new installations.
  • Identify equipment that does not meet current safety standards.
  • Train customers on safe equipment operation and routine maintenance.
  • Work with Sales to identify replacement equipment for end-of-life systems.
  • Coordinate schedules with the Service Coordinator to maximize productivity.
  • Maintain accurate inventory, tools, diagnostic equipment, and calibration records.
  • Complete work orders, timesheets, expense reports, and vehicle inspections.
  • Follow all applicable safety procedures and maintain clean work areas.
  • Identify additional customer service opportunities while on-site.

Requirements

  • Experience servicing, repairing, maintaining, or installing NDT or industrial equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and component-level repair skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and/or electronic systems.
  • Experience with diagnostic tools, meters, and equipment calibration.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and support a field service team.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer locations.
  • Reliable, professional, organized, and safety-focused.
