Fork lift Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Machinery: Drive sit-down, stand-up, or reach forklifts and pallet jacks to transport goods.
• Load and Unload: Move shipments safely on and off delivery trucks, trailers, or rail cars.
• Inspect Equipment: Conduct pre-shift checks on brakes, tires, and fluid levels to spot damage or leaks.
• Manage Inventory: Track stock using radio frequency (RF) scanners and update warehouse logs.
• Maintain Safety: Follow strict workplace rules to prevent accidents and keep the work area clean. [1, 2, 3]

Requirements and Qualifications

• Certification: Hold a valid forklift operator license or certification (such as OSHA compliance).
• Experience: Prior work in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing setting.
• Physical Strength: Ability to stand for long shifts and lift heavy objects (frequently up to 50 pounds).
• Attention to Detail: Good depth perception, hand-eye coordination, and spatial awareness
