Job Details
- Position: CT Technologist
- Certifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, CT (preferred)
- Education & Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical imaging, including X-ray; CT experience preferred
- Shift Schedule: Rotating shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekend call from Friday evening through Monday morning, including rotating holidays
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Coverage & Responsibilities: Responsible for performing CT scans, plain films, and C-arm procedures; assist with ultrasound and DEXA scans as needed; start IVs, operate imaging equipment including Siemens CT and GE C-arm; ensure timely response during call shifts with a 20-minute response time
- Additional Information: No specific orientation is provided for CT versus X-ray; assistance in all areas except Mammo and Ultrasound; EMR systems include Evident CPSI, MedQ, and ImageLink PACS; department equipped with Siemens CT, Shimadzu X-ray, US, DEXA, and GE C-arm
