DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position provides advanced clerical support for the Division of Safety Inspection and assists with the daily operation of the Plan Review Section. The work focuses on managing electronic plan submissions, maintaining tracking systems, and supporting staff with reliable administrative services. As a Clerical Assistant 3, you will perform the following duties:
- Plan Submission Review: Monitor electronic plan submissions, verify completeness, and resolve discrepancies with submitters
- Database Maintenance: Create, update, and track electronic files and databases used for plan review activities
- System Coordination: Support SharePoint and Access systems by troubleshooting issues and updating information throughout the review process
- Process Development: Create procedures, queries, and tracking tools to improve electronic plan review workflows
- Liaison Support: Serve as the main contact for electronic plan issues and determine solutions to unexpected questions and challenges
- General Office Tasks: Prepare reports, maintain records, manage forms and spreadsheets, coordinate equipment maintenance, and file documents

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week upon successful completion of training. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
