The Juvenile Justice System Enhancement Strategy (JJSES) Consultant offers you the chance to support meaningful reform across the statewide juvenile justice system. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This role focuses on supporting statewide advancement of the Juvenile Justice System Enhancement Strategy through committee collaboration, county engagement, and evidence-based system improvement. As a Juvenile Justice System Enhancement Strategy (JJSES) Consultant, you will perform the following duties:
- Committee Coordination: Collaborate with committees to create tools, guides, policies, and training resources that support JJSES goals
- Training Delivery: Develop and deliver training sessions and learning materials that strengthen evidence-based practices across counties
- County Assistance: Support counties by assessing readiness, building implementation plans, and providing direct technical guidance
- Tool Implementation: Assist counties in the consistent use of CTS, MAYSI-2, and PaDRAI screening and assessment tools
- Evaluation Support: Contribute to tracking milestones, analyzing results, and preparing progress updates
- Sustainability Planning: Promote long-term use of continuous quality improvement processes that strengthen fidelity and local practice

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, schedule to be established. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Program Analyst 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Two years of analytical experience, one of which includes professional experience in program evaluation and the development of program recommendations, and a bachelor's degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
- This particular position also requires you to possess two years or more of full-time professional juvenile justice experience, which includes utilizing at least one of the following evidence-based practices: Youth Level of Service, trauma screening, Massachusetts Youth Screening Instrument, and/or juvenile justice case planning.
