Behavior Tech / Registered Behave Tech

Our Client is looking for Behavioral Technicians (BT/RBTs) for opportunities located in the greater Hartford, CT area including the suburbs.

CLIENT HOURS
Our Clients can accommodate full schedule between 30-38 hrs / week
Monday -Friday - Typical School Hours. We have opportunities currently from as short as 2 months to others that run through the end of the school year.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Some opportunities need an Actual Registered Behavior Tech (RBT), but other opportunities welcome someone who has completed the 40 hours of RBT Study. And some of the Clients just need someone who has strong experience working with Children with Autism or Children with Behavioral Issues.
* A Bachelors' or Associates Degree is helpful, but actual BT experience is more important than the education.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* As a BT you will work closely with students to build their trust and apply a BCBA's plans for each child.
* You will prepare notes and report back to the BCBA on the effectiveness of the BCBA's Behavior Plans for reassessment & possible Plan Modifications.
* Depending on the child, it could be working with a child on his focus on the work, ability to stay engaged in the class work or with more severe behavioral issues implement redirection techniques to curb any issues the child is exhibiting.
You will interact regularly with a BCBA, the child's teachers and other staff members.

Our clients offer a Competitive Compensation Rate for Behavior Techs! And we compensate you on a weekly basis!!! Depending on the Client, your education and qualifications, as well as your experience, Compensation Rates range from $23 to $45 per hour.
