This contract opportunity seeks an experienced pharmacist to oversee pharmacy operations and deliver exceptional patient care in a retail setting. The role is based in Buckeye, WV, and offers a part-time schedule of 20 hours per week, working Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch break.

Responsibilities include supervising pharmacy technicians and staff pharmacists to maintain efficient daily operations. You will verify and dispense medications accurately, ensuring safe distribution in compliance with regulatory standards. Managing retail pharmacy inventory, medication stock levels, and formulary guidelines will also be key duties. Maintaining adherence to controlled substance documentation and handling procedures is essential to meet compliance requirements.

The role involves administering immunizations as a licensed immunizing pharmacist. Operational tasks consist of managing pharmacy billing, claims submission, and financial reconciliations. Utilization of EHR and pharmacy management systems is required, with training provided. Your contributions will also support workflow optimization and continuous quality improvement initiatives. Oversight of the 340B program administration and compliance is a critical compliance area.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active, clear pharmacy license in West Virginia
• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy; PharmD preferred but not mandatory
• Current CPR certification and immunization certification
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and customer service orientation
• Experience with Pioneer pharmacy system preferred
