Accounting Clerk

We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to join a small, collaborative accounting team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a strong focus on accounts receivable, cash applications, and day-to-day accounting support.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts receivable and cash applications
• Post customer payments and transactions to bank accounts
• Enter and process accounting vouchers
• Assist with AP/AR activities
• Research and resolve payment or posting discrepancies
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
• Provide general accounting and administrative support
• Assist with front desk coverage as part of the role

• 1–2 years of accounting experience
• Experience with AR, cash applications, and basic AP
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable working in a small, quiet office environment
• Prophet 21 experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong communication skills and willingness to assist across the team

Position Details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Work Environment: 100% onsite
• Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
