We are looking for a Contracts Administrator to join a hospitality organization in Austin, Texas on a Contract basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys improving legal and business workflows, supporting cross-functional teams, and bringing structure to contract-related operations. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to day-to-day contract administration while helping strengthen the tools, documentation, and reporting that support the broader legal function.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the full contract administration process, including preparing documents, coordinating reviews, monitoring approvals, and maintaining renewal timelines.
• Support the setup, organization, and ongoing maintenance of contract management tools and repositories, including data validation and process readiness activities.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, People, Product, IT, and other internal stakeholders to keep contract requests moving efficiently and resolve process gaps.
• Create and refine templates, guidance materials, playbooks, and internal knowledge resources that help employees handle routine agreement-related questions.
• Evaluate existing workflows to identify delays or repetitive tasks, then recommend practical improvements that increase consistency and efficiency.
• Monitor key contract and legal operations metrics such as turnaround time, workload volume, and spend trends to support decision-making and planning.
• Assist with the adoption and configuration of technology that supports contract review, drafting, and administrative workflows, including AI-enabled tools where applicable.
• Serve as a dependable point of coordination for contract-related communications, ensuring accurate tracking, status visibility, and timely follow-up across teams.• At least 2 years of experience in contract administration, contract management, legal operations, or business operations.
• Working knowledge of contract lifecycle processes, including document routing, recordkeeping, renewals, and stakeholder coordination.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly to non-legal audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly and adapt to evolving tools, processes, and priorities.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners in areas such as Finance, IT, Procurement, HR, or related business functions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple contract matters at the same time.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to recognize inefficiencies, interpret operational data, and support process improvements.
• Experience with contract management platforms, e-billing systems, legal technology tools, or notary/paralegal-related credentials is a plus.
