Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Device Assembler for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Santa Clara, CA. This role is ideal for candidates with steady work history, strong hand-eye coordination, and an interest in clean-room medical device manufacturing.
As a Medical Device Assembler, you will support the production of high-quality medical device products in a controlled manufacturing environment. This position offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative team, follow structured Standard Operating Procedures, and build valuable experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
Candidates who succeed in this role are dependable, quality-focused, flexible, and comfortable performing detailed repetitive assembly work while maintaining excellent attendance and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform medical device assembly in a clean-room manufacturing environment while following established SOPs and quality standards.
- Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment according to work instructions and safety guidelines.
- Complete data collection, basic computer entry, and documentation accurately and on time.
- Conduct visual inspection and hand assembly using measuring equipment and fine motor skills.
- Adapt to changing production needs, including movement between teams, buildings, or facilities as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area while supporting team goals and continuous improvement.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $24.50 to $27.90 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Location: Santa Clara, CA.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday.
- Shifts available: Day, swing, and graveyard.
- Background check and drug test required.
