AFC Urgent Care is the leading Urgent Care brand with over 300 locations nationwide offering high quality patient-centered healthcare to our communities.  Our state-of-the-art Urgent Care centers focus on the episodic treatment of acute illnesses and injuries on a walk-in basis seven days a week with lab and x-rays on-site.  We are seeking a Per-Diem Physician Assistant to join our Team in San Diego, California.

• Per-diem Requirement: 2 – 3 shifts per month, with 9 – 12-hour shifts and pre-approved overtime
• Competitive Pay. Hourly Rate: $74.00-$78.00. 
• Additional bi-weekly bonuses based on patient volume thresholds.

What does AFC Urgent Care require?  

• An unrestricted medical license in California
• DEA Certificate
• Must be NCCPA Board Certified
• At least two years of experience in an ER, Urgent Care or Primary Care setting
• Able to treat patients of all ages and be comfortable with minor procedures (e.g., suturing lacerations, draining abscesses, etc.)
• Availability to work: day, evening, and weekend shifts.
