Job Description
Electrical Foreman/General Foreman (Racine)
Lead electrical field execution on a large-scale Wisconsin data center construction project. Foremen guide crews, organize daily work and maintain safety, quality and production. General Foreman candidates should bring demonstrated responsibility for multiple crews and foremen, with the planning and communication needed to keep a major construction effort moving.
Best fit: an electrical field leader who has owned crew planning, safe execution and quality on large projects. General Foreman consideration requires proven multi-crew leadership.
Location: Racine, Wisconsin
Schedule: Published project schedule is Monday–Saturday, approximately 58–60 hours per week, with a 7:30 a.m. start. Current assignment schedule and overtime must be confirmed; hours are not guaranteed.

Compensation: Foreman $68.76/hour; General Foreman $71.89/hour Published project classification rate(s), subject to current assignment and union confirmation; final hourly pay is established in the offer process.
Per Diem: The recruiting packet does not provide per diem or a relocation bonus. Candidates should plan reliable transportation and any necessary temporary housing; confirm travel provisions before committing.
Responsibilities
- Plan daily and near-term work, assign manpower and coordinate materials, tools and equipment.
- Lead electrical crews through installation, terminations, testing, punch-list work and turnover.
- Read drawings and specifications and coordinate field issues with project management and other trades.
- Set clear safety, lockout/tagout and quality expectations; verify compliance in the field.
- Track progress, resolve execution obstacles, document issues and coach crew members.
- For General Foreman assignments, coordinate multiple crews and foremen and align manpower and sequence with the project schedule.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated electrical crew-leadership experience on large commercial, industrial or data-center construction projects.
- A Wisconsin Journeyman or Master electrical credential appropriate to the assignment, with qualifications and classification verified through the client/union process OR similar relevant qualifications and the ability to obtain credentials in near future
- Ability to explain crew size, work scope, planning responsibilities, productivity outcomes and safety/quality controls from actual projects.
- Strong drawing interpretation, manpower planning, materials coordination and field communication skills.
- OSHA-10 Construction before jobsite work, applicable union referral and the required personal hand tools.
- For General Foreman consideration, documented multi-crew/foreman leadership and broader schedule/manpower responsibility.
Preferred Qualifications
- Data center or mission-critical electrical construction, commissioning and turnover experience.
- OSHA-30 training and experience leading safety planning.
- Evidence of delivering electrical scopes through coordination, quality control and effective supervision.

SCREENING GUIDE - EXPERIENCE LEVELS
Foreman / General Foreman: 6 to 10 years typical, with crew leadership experience. Wisconsin requires a journeyman license minimum for foremen; master license preferred. Note: the client qualifies foremen on experience and crew leadership ability, not solely on state licensure.
