Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
As a Business Development / Sales Manager II at ASI, you are responsible for independently managing a defined territory or account set within ASI's robotics and autonomous systems markets. With limited supervision, you own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, building customer relationships that align ASI's solutions to real operational needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a defined territory or account portfolio, developing and executing a strategic plan to meet or exceed annual quota.
- Identify, qualify, and advance new business opportunities across commercial, government, and OEM customer segments.
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution proposals tailored to each customer's operational environment.
- Develop and submit competitive proposals, quotes, and RFP responses with appropriate internal collaboration.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and technical stakeholders at target accounts.
- Maintain accurate pipeline data, forecasts, and account documentation in the CRM system.
- Coordinate post-sale handoffs to implementation and customer success teams to ensure smooth deployments.
- Represent ASI at trade shows, industry conferences, and customer site visits within assigned territory.
- Provide market feedback to product and engineering teams based on customer conversations and competitive intelligence.
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, JOB SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in B2B sales, with demonstrated success in full-cycle deal management.
- Experience selling technical or capital equipment solutions preferred.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
- Ability to travel regularly for customer engagements, demonstrations, and industry events.
