Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3×12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
• Perform IV insertion and PICC line management as part of routine patient care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Meditech electronic health records
• Float to other departments and facilities as needed based on a department-monitored rotation schedule
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of Telemetry nursing experience required
• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification (AHA) required prior to start
• Proficiency with IV insertion and PICC line management
• Experience with Meditech charting system
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-acuity telemetry or cardiac step-down unit
• Comfort with floating to multiple departments or facilities within a health system
