Traveling Project Manager – Hotel Renovations

Salary: $115,000–$140,000

Location: Nationwide Travel

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Traveling Project Manager to oversee hotel renovation and brand conversion projects across the United States.


You’ll manage projects from start to finish, including budgets, schedules, subcontractors, vendors, and client communication. This is a high-travel role, with up to 100% travel, and projects will often take place in occupied hotels.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage hotel renovation projects from planning through completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar software.
  • Manage budgets, contracts, change orders, and procurement.
  • Coordinate architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
  • Oversee construction, safety, quality, and daily site activities.
  • Conduct site inspections and progress meetings.
  • Help minimize disruption to hotel guests and operations.
  • Review blueprints, architectural plans, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Track project costs using HeavyBid or similar estimating software.
  • Resolve project issues and keep work on schedule.


Must-Have Qualifications

  • 5 years PM experience managing large-scale hotel/hospitality construction or renovation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction operations, safety, and quality control.
  • Experience with Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software.
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction software.
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and plans.
  • Construction estimating experience; HeavyBid experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 100% throughout the U.S.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel by air and automobile.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
