Job Description

Talent Director & Talent Manager

Talent Management Firm | Los Angeles or New York City (Hybrid)

We’re partnering with a leading talent management firm representing influencers and creators to hire both a Talent Director and a Talent Manager. These are two roles at different levels, both built around the same thing - helping creators land the right brand partnerships and grow careers that last.

The firm works at the heart of the creator economy, with a creative, collaborative team and a dedicated Brand Partnerships function. It’s a place where talent managers get to think long-term about their creators, not just chase the next deal.

The Role

Whichever level you come in at, you’ll be a trusted advisor to your creators. You’ll manage their relationships, guide their partnerships and career growth, and bring in the brand deals that move them forward.

The Talent Director is a senior role. You’ll lead a team of talent managers and coordinators while still managing a select group of creators yourself. The Talent Manager is a hands-on role, focused on managing creator relationships and growing their brand partnerships day to day.

What You’ll Own

You’ll manage creator relationships and advise on partnerships, positioning, and long-term career growth.

You’ll pitch, negotiate, and secure deals with brands and agencies, then oversee contracts and make sure every partnership is delivered well.

You’ll also spot new business opportunities and work closely with the Brand Partnerships team to bring more of them to life. As Talent Director, you’ll lead, mentor, and develop the management team on top of all that.

What We’re Looking For

For the Talent Director role, you have 5+ years of relevant experience, including time at a talent management firm and experience managing a team. You’ve got strong industry relationships and you know how to mentor people and help them grow.

For the Talent Manager role, you have 2+ years of talent management and/or influencer marketing experience. There’s more flexibility on background here, but talent management firm experience is preferred. You’re a natural relationship builder, a confident negotiator, and highly organized.
