CNC Press Brake Operator

This is a 2nd shift Position - Please DO NOT APPLY if you cannot work 2nd shift!!!!!

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Ability to perform essential duties

·         High school education or GED

·         Minimum of five years of set-up CNC Press Brake experience

·         Must have working experience selecting the correct tooling for the bends required

·         Must have working experience in calculating and entering the axis, part offset, dimensions, angle, bend length and bend allowances

Duties:

·         Utilizes the Production Schedule Report in due date order to produce production on schedule.  Exceptions will be communicated by production control or operations manager.

·         Must be able to read and interpret drawings, follow routers and use math to perform calculations.

·         Must have a good understanding of angles and tolerances.

·         Must be able to operate, install tooling and set up mechanical and hydraulic press brakes.

·         Must be able to perform visual inspection and dimensional inspection using calipers and basic measuring tools.

·         Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.

·         Update computer records and paperwork in accordance with production requirements.

·         Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on presses as required.

·         Maintains work area in clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures.

·         Must have a working command of the English language and be able to communicate orally and in writing.
