Bookkeeper

Key Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping & Accounting: Handle AP/AR, reconcile invoices, post daily deposits, balance bank and credit card accounts, and assist with month-end closing.
• Payroll & HR Support: Process payroll, manage timecard adjustments, coordinate new hire onboarding, and maintain confidential personnel records in compliance with California employment laws.
• Administrative & Customer Support: Answer phones, organize mail, order office supplies, handle customer invoicing inquiries, and assist with delinquent account collections.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years of bookkeeping, AR/AP, and general HR support experience.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word), 10-key data entry, and accounting software (Sage experience preferred).
• Requirements: High accuracy/attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a valid driver’s license.
