AFTERNOON PRESCHOOL LEAD TEACHER
EMC2 Kids Academy in Santa Clara is seeking a caring, dependable, and qualified Lead Teacher to guide our afternoon preschool program for children ages 2–5.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday
11:00 PM–5:00 PM
Approximately 30 hours per week
Compensation:
$28-30 per hour (base on experience)

Primary Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise the afternoon classroom
• Support lunch, rest-time, and afternoon transitions
• Plan and facilitate age-appropriate art, science, literacy, and physical-development activities
• Maintain active supervision and accurate headcounts
• Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and academic development
• Maintain classroom records and communicate professionally with families
• Complete daily handoffs and closing procedures
• Follow California Community Care Licensing requirements and EMC2 policies
Qualifications:
• Must meet California preschool teacher qualification requirements
• Early Childhood Education coursework and documentation required
• Experience working with children ages 2–5
• Ability to supervise a classroom independently
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
