This opportunity places providers within a fully certified hospital emergency department providing medium-acuity emergency care in a diverse patient population supported by comprehensive stroke and chest pain services.

• Position: Emergency Medicine Physician

• Setting: Level III Trauma Center with 11 emergency department beds
• Coverage: Approximately 12 shifts per month, 12-hour shifts

Clinical Scope

• Delivery of emergency medicine services in a Level III Trauma Center
• Management of medium acuity patients
• Perform initial triage, assessments, and stabilization
• Participate in stroke and chest pain interventions
• Coordinate with air ambulance services via helipad
• Manage a diverse demographic within the ED setting

This hospital features a well-organized emergency department serving as the sole Trauma Center in the region. It benefits from a fully certified Chest Pain Center, stroke intervention services, and a helipad for critical air transport. Schedule & Coverage

• 12-hour shifts, approximately 12 per month

Requirements

• MD degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Active Missouri medical license preferred
• DEA Registration required
