Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Location

Yuma, AZ | Rehabilitation Hospital

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during overnight shifts
• Manage and monitor a patient assignment of 7–9 patients per shift
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Document patient status, interventions, and responses accurately and in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona or a compact state license
• Comfort and experience managing a 7–9 patient ratio
• Experience in a Medical Surgical setting
• Current BLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a rehabilitation hospital or similar care setting
• Strong time management and organizational skills in a high-patient-volume environment
• Experience with night shift nursing in an acute or post-acute care environment
