School Psychologist - Sterling Heights, Michigan

You will be key in providing comprehensive psychological services, going beyond traditional evaluations to help nurture well-being and academic growth. What you'll need:

• Current or transferable Michigan School Psychologist Certification, or willingness to secure MI licensure prior to starting
• Background in school settings preferred
• Expertise in assessment, consultation, and intervention strategies
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, families, and staff
• Commitment to being onsite and actively engaged in the school community

Key responsibilities:

• Evaluate students to identify strengths and areas of need
• Develop and recommend targeted intervention strategies
• Participate in the creation and implementation of IEPs and 504 plans
• Advise school teams and consult with families to support student progress
• Contribute to initiatives focusing on mental health, positive behavior, and crisis response
• Assist beyond evaluations, actively addressing mental and behavioral health needs

• Hours: 37.5 per week, following the academic calendar from August 25, 2026, through June 11, 2027
