Special Education Teacher - Edwards, Colorado

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

• Valid licensure or eligibility to teach Special Education.
• Experience working with elementary-age students in a school setting preferred.
• Ability to provide effective instruction, modify curriculum, and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with families, support staff, and general education teachers.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, growth-oriented classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted instruction to elementary students with mild/moderate disabilities in both individual and small group settings.
• Develop and implement IEPs based on students’ unique needs.
• Monitor, document, and communicate student progress toward goals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support student success.
• Actively participate in professional development and school meetings.
• Cultivate a positive, supportive atmosphere where every student feels valued.
