Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification and relevant state licensure
- Experience working with K-8th grade students preferred
- Strong understanding of psychological and psycho-educational assessment tools
- Proficient in evaluating student needs and collaborating on individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with students, families, and staff
- Ability to work exclusively onsite (remote or virtual arrangements are not considered)
- Dedication to confidentiality, ethical standards, and professional responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, observations, and interviews to evaluate student learning, behavior, and emotional needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support students’ academic and behavioral success
- Develop and help implement intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and support as needed within the school community
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, contribute expertise to IEPs, and document findings in a timely manner
- Advocate for student needs by providing recommendations and resources
