This contract position is conveniently located near Detroit, MI, offering the rewarding opportunity to engage with 19 enthusiastic students in a supportive environment.

As an integral part of the elementary team, you’ll foster learning, creativity, and growth each day—helping students build foundational skills that last a lifetime. The work schedule runs from 8:35 AM to 3:35 PM, with a half-hour unpaid lunch, totaling 32.5 hours per week.

Qualifications & Desired Background:

• Valid certification as an Elementary or General Education Teacher
• Prior experience teaching at the elementary (primary) level
• Strong classroom management abilities and effective communication skills
• Passion for working with young children and promoting a positive classroom culture
• Commitment to supporting diverse learners and collaborating with colleagues and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive instruction across core subjects to a lively 2nd grade class
