Physical Therapist Assistant - Elkin, NC

What You’ll Bring:

• Valid North Carolina PTA license
• Experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant, preferably in a K-12 setting
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the unique needs of each student
• Comfort with travel to schools in the greater Elkin area

Your Role:

• Deliver direct PTA services to students in accordance with their individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate closely with supervising physical therapists, educators, and families to support each student’s mobility and physical goals
• Document progress and maintain accurate records as required by school and district standards
• Participate in team meetings, sharing observations and adjusting interventions as needed
• Attend scheduled sessions on-site two days per week (16 hours total) from August 17th, 2026 through June 4th, 2027
