Step into a pivotal role supporting students and educators across a dynamic network of school sites as a floater paraprofessional. What we’re seeking:
- Active Delaware Paraeducator Permit required (pending not accepted; must be in hand).
- Prior experience working with children or in educational settings is highly desired.
- Flexibility to cover multiple school sites and adapt to varying schedules (elementary, middle, and high school hours).
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
- Reliability and desire for full-time hours; willingness to float and adapt to student/staff needs.
- Agreement to the $85 CBC fingerprinting requirement (candidate responsibility).
Primary responsibilities:
- Provide in-class support for students and educators as needs arise.
- Assist with classroom management and foster a positive, inclusive environment.
- Implement teacher-directed activities and reinforce individualized student supports.
- Build relationships across different schools and with diverse student populations.
- Maintain confidentiality and professional standards at all times.
