Job Description
Passionate about supporting student success through expert auditory assessment? This onsite contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by conducting an Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) focused on auditory processing for a local school district. You’ll collaborate closely with a Nurse and play a key role in shaping individualized education plans, all within a focused, one-time evaluation.

Requirements & Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Audiologist License (required)
- Experience with Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs), especially related to auditory processing
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including school Nurses and educators
- Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of school systems and special education procedures preferred
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct a comprehensive auditory processing evaluation as part of an IEE
- Coordinate onsite with school staff, including a Nurse, to gather relevant student information and history
- Perform necessary assessments and interpret results in line with best practices
- Provide a detailed written report with educational recommendations
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with school and state guidelines
