An opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to support K–12 students within Chesterfield District 01 in Chesterfield, SC. This on-site role offers the opportunity to join an established school psychology department and provide consultation, problem-solving, intervention support, and mental health services within an MTSS framework.
Applications are actively being reviewed, with an ASAP start available through the 2026–2027 school year. Qualified School Psychologists interested in collaborative, culturally responsive, and student-centered support are encouraged to apply.
POSITION DETAILS
* Full-time position for the 2026–2027 school year
* Monday–Friday schedule, 37.5 hours per week
* On-site school setting in Chesterfield, SC
* Support K–12 students
* Support an established school psychology department
* Provide consultation and problem-solving support
* Support student interventions within an MTSS framework
* Provide mental health and student support services
* Apply knowledge of crisis prevention and intervention practices
* Collaborate with educators, support staff, and multidisciplinary teams
QUALIFICATIONS
* Graduate degree or Education Specialist degree in School Psychology or Educational Psychology
* Commitment to equity, culturally responsive practices, and inclusive educational environments
* Expertise in evidence-based practices, including assessment, intervention, and mental health support
* Strong consultation, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP)
* Experience working in a school setting
* Knowledge of federal and South Carolina special education laws and compliance requirements
* Experience with multicultural education and culturally responsive practices
