This full-time opportunity places you within a dedicated team of DHH professionals and classroom support staff, primarily working 1:1 with students in consistent school locations near Eugene. You’ll have a defined caseload, allowing for meaningful student and staff relationships, while collaborating with specialists to foster inclusive learning environments. Qualifications:

• Demonstrated proficiency as a Sign Language Interpreter, with interpreter training complete
• Achieved a minimum 3.5 score on the IEPA assessment
• Possess all current, required licensure and certifications relevant to sign language interpreting in educational settings
• Prior experience interpreting for Deaf/Hard of Hearing students in a school environment (strongly preferred)
• Comfortable collaborating both independently and within a team of professionals
• Strong commitment to professional standards and student confidentiality

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, accurate interpreting services primarily in a 1:1 setting with students
• Travel between assigned school buildings (locations designated for the duration of the contract)
• Work closely with DHH staff and classroom teams to ensure accessible communication and support
• Maintain accurate records and ongoing communication about student progress
