Job Description
Embark on a rewarding assignment as a School Psychologist providing essential services to students from preschool through high school for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, contract opportunity offers 37.5 hours per week with an ideal mix of on-site and remote work—three days in person and two days working remotely—while maintaining a preference for those who thrive in an in-person setting.
You’ll collaborate closely with dedicated educators and families, serving preschool, primary, elementary, and high school populations. Your unique expertise will support student growth, emotional well-being, and learning success across all grade levels.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in the state
- Familiarity with a wide age range of students, from preschool through high school
- Proven experience in both individual and group counseling, evaluations, and assessments
- Strong understanding of IEP development, MTSS, and effective interventions
- Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
- Flexibility and adaptability to work a hybrid schedule
- Comfortable navigating and utilizing digital platforms for assessments and teletherapy
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret results for multidisciplinary teams
- Collaborate on the design and implementation of individualized education and support plans
- Deliver direct counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Participate in team meetings, parent consultations, and ongoing school initiatives
- Foster a positive, inclusive school environment conducive to student learning and development
