Job Description
This role is based in a distribution facility where you prepare materials for shipping and receiving while following established standard operating procedures and work instructions related to material handling, equipment, and packaged goods. You operate a variety of material handling equipment and use basic computer applications to ensure accurate, efficient movement of inventory throughout the warehouse.
Responsibilities- Prepare materials for shipping and receiving in a distribution facility while following all standard operating procedures and documented work instructions.
- Handle, move, and store products safely using sit-down and stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers.
- Work at elevated heights to store and retrieve products from racking or designated storage locations.
- Use computers and software applications to enter, update, and verify data related to inventory, orders, and material movements.
- Operate handheld RF scanners to pick, scan, and track items accurately throughout the warehouse.
- Use tape guns, calculators, measuring tools, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to complete daily tasks efficiently.
- Perform general production and warehouse duties such as picking, loading, and staging materials for outbound shipments.
- Conduct inventory activities including order picking, inventory counting, and cycle counting to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Follow all safety guidelines and equipment operating procedures to maintain a safe work area.
- Lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for up to 12-hour shifts as required by the schedule.
- Experience working in a warehouse, distribution, or general production environment.
- Proficiency operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to operate reach trucks and cherry pickers, including working comfortably at heights.
- Material handling experience, including moving, storing, and staging products safely and efficiently.
- Comfort using pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Ability to perform data entry tasks accurately using computers and handheld RF scanners.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to stand and perform physical tasks for up to 12-hour shifts.
- Experience with order picking, loading, and general warehouse operations.
- Experience with inventory counting and cycle counting activities.
- Experience using Excel and MS Word to support warehouse and inventory activities.
- Familiarity with Oracle or similar warehouse or inventory management systems.
- Previous experience as a material handler, warehouse worker, or order picker.
- Attention to detail when handling, scanning, and recording product information.
- Comfort working with handheld scanners and other electronic devices in a fast-paced environment.

Work EnvironmentThe role is based in a climate-controlled distribution facility designed to keep working conditions consistent and comfortable throughout the year. You work with sit-down and stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, handheld RF scanners, computers, tape guns, calculators, and measuring tools. Schedules include first-shift options such as Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The environment involves working at heights when storing or retrieving product, regular lifting of up to 50 pounds, and standing for extended periods during 12-hour shifts as required.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.50 - $21.28/hr.
