What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology or related field (required)
- Valid School Psychologist Certification
- Previous experience working in schools preferred
- Knowledge of current best practices in assessment, intervention, and counseling
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and interpret results to support individualized student plans
- Offer counseling and guidance for students across K–12, addressing academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop intervention strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility decisions
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation and progress reports
- Promote a positive school climate through consultation, workshops, and staff training
